a "delete post" option would be great to clear up all the solved queries or user problems which no longer should kept as trash

delete option is there Didi but have restricted its use, sometimes i find it helpful to know what users want to delete before they delete it!! :-)

And sometimes the solved queries are very helpful in preventing new posts. Example... If some users search How To Use Subs in the forum, they will find many posts related to it and would not posts it again. But sadly, this is not the case. actually i should make some of those sticky and also add some help text in the forum sections instead of just the dates of the tourney

Another suggestion is increase the number of "Latest Posts" on the forums main page. Currently it shows 5 latest post, it would be better if 10 or 20 latest posts can be shown.

Fahad Dear Fahad, This is a very good suggestion. I would also suggest it should be around 20. Since, when I log on to the forum, the first thing I look for is the latest post. So increase in its number would cover most of the new posts for the day. Anthony Francis

You could incorporate links at the top of the forum(next to inbox, active topic links ) for the user that say, » Show unread posts since last visit. » Show new replies to your posts.

Rohit, as for the 'New Replies To Your Post' goes, there is an option which will send you automatic notifications to your email id when you start a topic. And the 'Show Unread Posts Since Last Visit', that is available in the Active Links Page which you mentioned. Even if manager does incorporate dedicated links to these options, I dont think they would get high priority in the To-Do List. To Create A MoneyBookers ID, please use this link... Active topics ≠ Show unread posts since last visit (pls clarify abt this one manager..i m not sure...seen it on many forums) And regarding "New replies to your post", you are correct, there is email notification so this suggestion can be given a miss!
