Respected Manager,
From the past few tournament since the restriction on number of users in league is lifted, the intensity of competition has come down. The league which are winning only win every tournament as more and more users join them hoping them to win the next one as well. To have my opinion i feel that if the restriction on the number of users in a league was 8 or 11 like before then there would be more leagues giving equal fight.
Thanks.

What you are saying is correct, no doubt. But this league format has increased competition, too.
If a league is filling up with members, the probability of a member being in the top 4 decreases. This is what makes users think. If a user is good, he/she does not need to think about how many members are there in the league.

And, there are tournament prizes individuals. Ones aiming for these prizes need not be in any league.

yea am not saying one must see how many users are there and then join. the thing is when there are more users, the probability of winning increases.
Let me give u an instance... If there is a must win match and many dont get the desired result, probability of having the users who won in the league of 30 members is more than the one which had 8. so again the league having more members ends up winning. This is just my opinion, Hope u got my point and i want managers take on this as well.
Thanks.

But when talking about probability in sports... its just a number. Probability does not prove or infer anything.
If you have noticed, some of the top leagues have less than 8 members. Thats another thing that they are managed by single or lesser number or users. ;)

ya I agree with you there should not be monopoly. I sure there is no monopoly. One thing you must know rule change by manager not any member. And only manager has authority to change things. if he thing you are right he will change according to your suggestion.

Dear Jason,

Don't get discouraged or put back by any negative comments. If you have any good suggestions, please feel free to post them. Good suggestion is always welcome.

And as far as I know nobody is against you, Neither I nor anybody else. Everyone has an opinion and they will express them. So don't take it personally and don't take it to heart.

Warm Regards,
Anthony Francis

I think you maybe right Jason.
The reason why we changed the number of allowed members in a league was because there was a hope that every now and then we would get a new user who was in a college or company where he would be able to get more new users and didn't want to be restricted to the 8 or 11 we used to have before.
This hope arose only because we got a request from a college during the ipl which is why we created the C&C leagues, so I thought why not combine the two instead of adding more costs, but that has not worked out too well, even noticed in the number of new league invites being sent.
We will return to the 11 member leagues for the next tournament.
Also Jason even if I ever am negative to any suggestion you make , please DONT stop making suggestions!
