Hi Manager,

we all see so many tied fantasy games. In international cricket there is SUPER OVER for tied games(at least in T20). my suggestion is we can apply same logic in fantasy cricket in reduced length.
Suggestion -

You can make provision for selection 'Super over batsman' and 'Super over bowler' along with 14 members(playing11+3 subs). After scorecard updation if fantasy game gets tied the super over batsman & bowler come into the picture.
winning/losing will depend upon these twos actual performance(in that match /round)and it will be counted per over(6 balls) in super over

e.g if my fm is tied and i had selected Afridi as SOBat who's score is 20(10) and SOBowl is Zaheer khan whose bowling figures are 4-0-40-3.

Afridi - 20(10) - 12/over

zaheer-4-40 - 10/over

so i win the game as Afridi's runs scored /over )are more than Zaheer's conceded /over..(12-10=2)

Only issue i can see whats should be that games nrr after winning/losing the game in this way to compete with user who has already won/lost the game(didnt need the super over).

i think for this there should be another column called SO NRR and so user who wll win in super overs will be ranked according to that.. and their regular NRR is 0.000

e.g
RANK USER NRR SONRR

1 rohit123 1.5 -

2 big j 0.00 2.0

3 abysport 0.00 1.3

4. error -0.23 -

I hope you will think about this suggestion . i don't know whether it will work or not ..but it will make game more exciting(also complicated) for sure.

Thanks & Regards,
Shailesh

Suggestion is really good... but we will have to see how Manager can incorporate it... Programming will have to be manipulated.

But I have a doubt... If I may ask,

What if the selected batsman for Super Over is not playing that match (for some reason)... can we substitute him with a player who has already played?? That would mean we can also substitute the Super Over bowler with one who has excellent economy rate.

I'm not against this suggestion, but this struck my mind, so I asked it.

we actually had considered this for ipl not just if your match is a tie but even if you are tied in the rankings with any other user.
but we didnt want to add any complications to the player selection process, but i just realized maybe we can use the subs for the super over because adding any other steps to that page will be a big devleopment work for us.
will see what we can do...
also a minor change coming up
sub deadline will be for each match, 24 to 48 hrs
couple of reasons, we want to show users more accurate rankings, right now thats not possible until the tournament ends (because a user can use a sub 2 days after the tournament ends even for his first match), this way we can have a finalized current ranking a day or two after each fantasy match.
Also if you win the first match, you can get paid in 2-3 days instead of waiting till the tournament ends.
