OBJECTIVE : WIN YOUR FANTASY TEST MATCH

Bowling Rule & Penalty Runs

  • Your Fantasy Team can take a maximum of 10 wickets
  • Once 10 wickets are taken , the bowlers average and economy rate will be used to determine his fantasy bowling figures.
(See A Kumble I's figures shown in the fantasy columns, F0, FR and FW)
  • Runs conceded by remaining bowlers in the bowling line up will be ignored.
So think when you are assigning your bolwing orders
  • Runouts also count as wickets. Only the player responsible for dislodging the bails will be credited with the run out.
Runouts are added to the Wickets column of players in your bowling line up.
  • If your bowlers do not take 10 wickets or do not bowl the remaining overs in the fantasy match, your fantasy team will face 4 penalty runs for every remaining over.

Batting Rule & Declaring

  • If you set a declaration score your batting innings will end once this total is reached
  • The batsmen's strike rate will be used to determine his fantasy match score and balls faced (shown in the fantasy cloumns FR and FB)
  • Runs scored and balls faced by remaining batsmen in your line up will be ignored. Which will give you more overs to dismiss the opposition

In this example the declaration score was set at 398 by the captain of this fantasy team. If no declaration score was set Bell(II) may have had to be substituted to give the fantasy team enough overs to bowl out the opposition which would have meant missing out on Bell's entire innings.

Substitute Rule

  • Substitutes can only be used AFTER the test match is complete
  • You can use your substitutes to replace any player in your starting 11.
  • Substitutes take on the bowling and batting order of the player they replace
  • Only 2 of the 3 assigned substitutes can be used
  • If your substitute does not participate in the test match he cannot be used

Fantasy Match Length

  • The allotted overs for your fantasy match is half the overs bowled in the test match.
(Test Matches can have 4 innings, your fantasy match can have only 2 innings)
  • Rain, bad light or an early conclusion to the test match will result in a reduction of overs allotted in the fantasy match.
  • You must complete your batting and bowling innings within the allotted overs or your fantasy match will be drawn.
