Team Managment
- Select 14 players for your fantasy cricket match
A starting 11 and 3 Substitutes
- You can select a maximum of 8 players from one country
- There are no restrictions on player types
- Use the Up and Down Arrows to change the Batting
and Bowling Orders of any selected player
Fantasy Cricket Scorecard
- Using the players you have selected and the orders you have assigned
A Cricket Scorecard is created for each match in the series, Your Substitution control panel is above your scorecard
- Once the live match starts your players scores and bowling figures will
populate your scorecard in REAL TIME
- To win your fantasy cricket match, just like any cricket match,
the bowlers in your team must take 10 wickets or bowl 50 overs for less runs than your batsmen have scored!
Only 20 overs needed in a Twenty20 match
- Your team will bat first in matches 1-6 and bowl first in match 7
- Only your best 4 matches will count in the tournament rankings
- You can ENTER or make unlimited changes to your team 1 HOUR
before the live match is scheduled to start
Batting Rule
- Your team can bat a maximum of 50 overs (300 balls)
20 overs or 120 balls in a Twenty20 match
- Once 300 balls are faced, batsmen's strike rate will be used to
determine his score for your fantasy cricket match.(Shown in the fantasy column)
- Runs scored by remaining batsmen in the batting order will be IGNORED
In the example on the right, notice younis Khan has scored 100 runs of 100 balls,
but in the fantasy column only 82 runs are counted,
this is because the bastmen above him in the assigned batting order have left him with only 82 balls out of the available 300 balls in a 50 Over game!!
Using his stirke rate in this innings we know he would score 82 runs in 82 balls.
Also notice Thilan Thushara's useful innings of 30 from 15 balls is ignored,
50 overs have been played by the batsmen above him
so his runs do not count in this fantasy cricket match. Had Thushara been assigned a higer batting order this fantasy team would have scored even more than
271 runs in 50 overs.
So think before assigning your batting order!!
Bowling Rule
- Your Team can take a maximum of 10 wickets or bowl a maximum
of 50 overs (300 balls)20 overs or 120 balls in a Twenty20 match
- If more than 10 wickets are taken or more than 50 overs bowled,
the bowlers average and economy rate will be used to determine his bowling figures for your fantasy cricket match.(Shown in the fantasy column)
- Runs conceded by remaining bowlers in the bowling line up will be
IGNORED
So think before you assign your bowling order!
- Runouts also count as wickets. Only the player responsible for dislodging
the bails will be credited with the run out. Runouts are added to the Wickets
column of players in your bowling line up
- If your bowlers do not take 10 wickets or do not bowl 50 overs,
6 penalty runs will be added for every over under 5012 Penalty runs for a Twenty20 match
In this example notice Shoaib Malik's bowling figures are being ignored,
this is because the players above him in the assigned bowling order have taken 10 wickets!
So the opposition score will not include the runs malik conceded as they are All Out!
This has resulted in a very modest 151/10 in 33 overs for the opposition!
Had Malik been assigned a higher bowling order, his runs conceded would have counted towards the opposition score
So think before assigning your bowling order!!
TIP: Remember you can get wickets through run outs too and keepers are the mostly likely players to remove the bails
Using Subs
- Substitutes can only be used AFTER the live cricket game is over and the scores of all players have been verified
- You can use your substitutes to replace any player in your starting 11 to help win your fantasy cricket match or increase your net run rate.
- Substitutes take on the bowling and batting order of the player they replace
- Only 2 of the 3 assigned substitutes can be used
- If your substitute does not participate in the live cricket match he cannot be used
