T20 Example - Your batsmen score a total of 200 runs in 20 overs, if your bowlers take 10 wickets for 120 runs , you win the match by 80 runs with a Net Run Rate of +4.00!

  2. How do I win when bowling first ?
Your bowlers should take 10 wickets or bowl 20 overs for as few runs as possible. Your batsmen should score 1 run more in your batting innings!
T20 Example - Your bowlers give a total of 100 runs in 20 overs, if your batsmen score 101 runs in 10 overs you win the match with 10 overs remaining and a NRR of +5.025!

  3. What is the deadline to enter a T20 or ODI match?
The deadline to enter is 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the live match.

  4. What happens when one of my batsmen's live score causes my team to bat more than the allotted overs (20 or 50) ?
The bastmen's strike rate in the live match will be used to calulcate his score for the balls remaining in your batting order.
    Example :
Your batsmen has scored 100 runs of 50 balls in the live match with a strike rate of 200, but in your batting order only 10 balls are left for him to bat. Using the batsmen's strike rate he would score 20 runs in 10 balls in your fantasy cricket match.

  5. What happens when one of my bowlers live bowling figures causes my team to take more than 10 wickets or bowl more than the allotted overs (20 or 50)?
The bowlers average and economy rate in the live match will be used to calulate his bowling figures for the wickets or overs remaining in your bowling order . Example :
Your bowler has bowled 10 overs for 30 runs and taken 2 wickets in the live match, with an economy rate of 3.0 runs pers over and an average of 15 runs per wicket, but in your bowling order 9 wickets have already been taken by the bowlers above him. Using the bowler's economy rate and average, he would take 1 wicket in 5 overs for 15 runs in your fantasy cricket match

  6. What happens if Duckworth Lewis is used in the live match?
If Duckworth Lewis is used in the live match then the overs of the Fantasy Match will be reduced to the average overs allotted to each team in the live match.
    Example :
In a live T20 Match, if the team batting first gets 20 overs, and team batting second gets only 10 overs, the Fantasy Match will be reduced to 15 overs.

  7. What happens if the live match is abandoned?
If the live match is abandoned all entry fees will be refunded and no prizes will be paid

  8. What are rounds?
In multi-team tournaments like the world cup IPL and Big bash you can also enter a team for each round in the tournament. Rounds will use scores from all the teams in the tournament over multiple days, so you can select players from any team for each round.
Rounds are logically numbered; Round 1, Round 2, Semi-Finals round etc.
    - For the 1st round, player scores from each team's First match will be used
    - For the 2nd round, player scores from each team's Second match will be used
    - For the Semi Finals round, player scores from each team's semi final match will be used

  9. What is the difference between batting first and bowling first in a Fantasy Cricket Match™?
Just as in a real cricket match, when batting first your team will bat till it has used up all the overs or it is all out. When bowling first, your batsmen must score just 1 run more than your bowlers have given!

  10. What happens if the live match is abandoned?
If the live match is offically abandoned then the fantasy match is also abandonded. No prizes will be offered for abandoned matches , all entry fees will be refunded and results will not be considered in the tournament rankings.

  11. What happens if the allotted overs are reduced or the D/L method is used in the live match?
If the allotted overs are reduced or the D/L method is used in the live match, then the fantasy cricket match is reduced to the average number of allotted overs in the live match.
    Exmaple:
Aus v Ind ODI - Aus gets to bat 30 overs and Ind only gets 20 overs
Your Fantasy Cricket Match will be reduced to a 25 over game ( the average overs allotted per innings )

  12. What happens to prizes if teams have the same match result?
If users are tied with the same result, any prizes won will be shared equally
    Example :
2 users have the same result and are ranked 1st & 2nd, if the prize for 1st place is 2000 and the prize for 2nd place is 1000, each user will get 1500.

Strategies

  1. On Turning Tracks - Select the opening batsmen of the teams as well as no.3 and no.4 as they will get to bat when the ball is new and there will be less turn, so they have a better chance of scoring and scoring quickly. You might want to avoid picking pacers and focus instead on picking spinners.

  2. Seaming Pitch - Select middle order players instead of the opening batsmen since they will be facing the new ball on a seaming pitch when it will be toughest to bat. Focus on selecting the opening bowlers and fast bowlers instead of the spinners unless it is a world class spinner that bowls well on any pitch.

  3. Flat Batting Pitch - Keep you fast scoring batsmen on top of your batting order, while this is good strategy in all pitches it is more important in high scoring matches where many batsmen play long innings, facing a lot of balls, and you don't want to miss out on quick runs in 50 over (ODI) or 20 over (T20) matches. Focus on the economical bowlers rather than wicket taking bowlers as they tend to be more expensive on flat batting tracks.

  4. Substitutes, Bowling and Batting Order Strategies Your substitute's performance can replace the batting and bowling figures of any player in your playing 11 to help improve your result! So select two of your best players as subs since you will be able to give them the best bowling and batting order after seeing their scores! Even if your substitutes do not excel in the live match, they can still be useful to remove expensive overs by a bowler in your playing 11 or a slow innings by a batsmen in your playing 11.

You can make changes to your team & join leagues upto 1 hour before the live match starts.
